The Past

I first became interested in blue lock because of its unusual approach to soccer. Instead of focusing only on teamwork, it told them to be selfish, to me being selfish was rude and inconsiderate. Even most of my teachers tell me to be selfish at my age. Ive always wonderd if the reason I stuggle finding myself with new things is becuase I havent been selfish enough to grab anything. So of course I started reading the series.

The Present

So the series starts off with a boy name Isagi yoichi, jappanese boy who after this game was going to make it to nationals. His dream to win the world cup. The score was tied 0-0 the time on overtime. Isagi has brought the ball up to the enemys goal, he can already taste victory, hes only guarded on the left he could shoot and score right here, but then his teamate calls out. His teamate is unguarded on the right side of the post, with a clear shot of the goal. In isagis mind he thinks "Soccer is a sport played with eleven people" so of course he passes to his teamate, he wins anyway.. right? The ball lands perfeclty with his teamates foot, and as the teamate kicks the ball it flys gracefully into the pole.. The clearest shot. The easiest shot. The shot that could have sent them to the nationals. And just like that, Isagi's chance at victory disappears. The enemy team take the ball and counters the goal. leaving the score 1-0.

The Future

The next day Isagi revives a letter from a facility, "Blue lock". A Facility made to give 300 jappense boys a chance of becoming the worlds best sticker, to win the world cup. but with a twisted philosophy. This facility is made by Ego Jinpachi. Ego's philosophy is basically: Japan doesn't need another player who prioritizes teamwork. Japan needs the world's greatest striker. The twist, if you get eliminated you can never lay national soccer again. Lots of stuff happends very dramatic people getting eliminated. Personally my two favorites are Kurona (yes almsot like the virus) and Niko, But the ones I enjoy reading about the most are: Kasier, Ness, Bachira, and Chigiri. Thats concludes this websight..
